Gold Futures Rise on Fresh Buying and Firm Demand
Gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose by Rs 190 to Rs 1.52 lakh per 10 grams on Wednesday, driven by fresh buying and firm demand in the spot market.
The gold contract for October delivery advanced 0.12 percent, reaching a business turnover of 635 lots.
Market analysts attributed the rise to fresh positions created by participants amid firm demand in the spot market.
In international markets, gold futures climbed 0.65 percent to USD 4,384.16 per ounce in New York.
