Gold Futures Soar on US COMEX Gains

Gold futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today due to better performance on the US Commodity Exchange (COMEX).

The spot-month September 2026 contract rose to $4,393.20 per troy ounce from $4,316.90 per troy ounce on Thursday.

October 2026 futures also gained to $4,411.20 per troy ounce from $4,331.00 previously, while November 2026 climbed to $4,428.50 per troy ounce from $4,347.70 per troy ounce.

The physical gold price was fixed at $4,368.10 per troy ounce on the London Bullion Market Association’s afternoon fix on September 17, 2026.
