Gold Futures Spike to 1.53 Lakh Per 10 Grams Amid Firm Spot Demand
Gold futures rose to Rs 1.53 lakh per 10 grams on Thursday in futures trade due to firm spot demand, analysts said.
The price of gold contracts for October delivery traded higher by Rs 231 or 0.15 percent at Rs 1,53,994 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange with a business turnover of 867 lots.
This rise in prices is attributed to fresh positions being created by market participants, leading to an increase in demand for gold.
