Gold Futures Surge to Rs 1.54 Lakh, Silver Jumps to Rs 2.37 Lakh
Gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose to Rs 1.54 lakh per 10 grams, while silver futures jumped to Rs 2.37 lakh per kilogram on Tuesday.
The yellow metal contracts for October delivery traded higher by Rs 1,501, or 0.98 per cent, at Rs 1,54,600 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 1,332 lots.
The increase was driven by speculators creating fresh positions on firm spot demand, according to market analysts.
