Gold Holds Steady as Fed Interest Rate Concerns Persist
Gold prices held steady on Tuesday ahead of key US economic data releases. Investors are cautious about the possibility that the Federal Reserve may maintain higher interest rates for an extended period. Spot gold remained unchanged at $4,124.57 per ounce.
US gold futures fell 0.3% to $4,156.70. Other metals also saw declines: spot silver dropped 0.6% to $60.62, platinum declined by 1% to $1,699.86, and palladium lost 0.5% to $1,209.08.
The Federal Reserve's decision on interest rates has been a concern for investors, causing gold prices to hover near their lowest level since August 5.
