Gold Price Holds Steady at Rs450,936 Per Tola in Pakistan

The price of gold in Pakistan has remained steady at Rs450,936 per tola on September 28. The new rate for 10 grams is Rs386,604. This comes after a slight decline in international gold prices, which slipped $21 to $4,284 an ounce.

Silver also weakened domestically, falling Rs60 per tola to Rs6,903. Gold quotations in Lahore showed variations depending on the category and form of the metal, ranging from Rs442,000 to Rs450,936 per tola.

The benchmark gold price in Pakistan has eased from higher levels recorded earlier in the month, with an approximate monthly range of Rs443,600 to Rs459,500 per tola. The current rate corresponds to global prices around the mid-Rs440,000-per-tola range.
