Gold Price in Amravati Soars by ₹11,010 in Just 14 Days
The gold rate in Amravati has been on an upward trend since August 2, 2026. On that day, 24k gold was priced at ₹1,44,220 per 10 grams. However, by August 16, the price had risen to ₹1,55,130, marking a significant increase of ₹11,010 in just 14 days.
Looking back at previous months, we can see that gold prices have been volatile. In June, for instance, the rate plummeted from ₹1,57,180 on the first day to ₹1,41,920 by the end of the month. The trend was different in May and April, with rising prices throughout.
The purity of gold is measured in karats, with 24k being the purest form but also the softest. It's best suited for investment in coins and bars rather than jewellery. On the other hand, 22k gold is commonly used in traditional Indian jewellery due to its durability.
