Gold Price in India Falls by ₹1 Per Gram on August 31

India's gold and silver prices saw a marginal decline on August 31. The current rate for 24K gold stands at Rs 15,823 per gram, while 22K gold is priced at Rs 14,504 per gram. For larger quantities, 10 grams of 24K gold costs Rs 1,58,230.

The silver price also saw a small decline and now stands at Rs 254.90 per gram, down from Rs 255 previously. Silver prices for larger quantities are as follows: 10 grams cost Rs 2,549, while 100 grams is priced at Rs 25,490. A kilogram of silver costs Rs 2,54,900.

The rates have decreased by Rs 1 per gram across the three purity categories compared with the previous day's rate. Gold and silver prices can fluctuate based on various factors including international bullion prices, currency movements, investor demand, and broader economic conditions.
