The gold price in India remained steady on Sunday, July 26, after a week of fluctuations in global markets. The current 24-carat gold rate stands at ₹14,493 per gram, while 22-carat gold is available for ₹13,285 per gram and 18-carat gold for ₹10,870 per gram.

The prices are unchanged from the previous session, despite the impact of factors such as the US Federal Reserve meeting, movement in the dollar, and developments in the Middle East. The global market is waiting with bated breath for cues on interest rates and future monetary policy decisions.

According to GoodReturns, the 24-carat gold price rose from ₹14,346 per gram on July 20 to ₹14,493 per gram on July 26. Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged across major Indian cities at ₹2,400 per 10 grams and ₹2,40,000 per kilogram.
