Gold Price Plunges in Pakistan Amid International Decline

The price of gold in Pakistan's local market has seen a decline on Saturday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The association reported that 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs100, settling at Rs460,236.

Additionally, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs78 to Rs361,709, while 10 grams of 24-karat gold declined by Rs85 to Rs394,578.

The association also noted that in the international market, the price of gold fell by $1 to $4,377 per ounce. The price of silver in Pakistan's local market decreased by Rs69 to Rs7,100 for a tola and by Rs59 to Rs6,087 for 10 grams.

The prices of silver and gold also saw declines in the international market, with silver falling by $0.69 to $66.22 per ounce.
