Global gold ETFs saw significant inflows in August 2026, attracting $18 billion and expanding holdings by 121 tonnes to a record 4,189 tonnes. This substantial institutional accumulation signals robust demand for gold.

The People's Bank of China also increased its gold reserves by 20.2 metric tonnes during the same month, adding further structural demand.

Technical indicators suggest that gold is trading in a short- and medium-term bullish phase, with a 71% probability of stabilizing between $4,303 to $4,382 over the next two days.
