Gold Price Rises by 0.94% in India Amid Market Volatility
The gold price in India rose by 0.94% on September 30th, 2026. In Mumbai, the price of 24K gold increased to ₹149,990 per 10 grams. The price of 22K and 18K gold also saw a rise to ₹137,491 and ₹112,493 respectively.
The price movement is attributed to international spot gold rates, US dollar fluctuations, and import duties on gold. Gold prices in India are higher than those in Dubai, with a difference of ₹13,685 or 10.04% for 24K gold.
Analysts suggest that gold may remain range-bound due to market uncertainty. Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money, noted that immediate resistance is at Rs 150,000, Rs 150,700, followed by Rs 152,000, Rs 152,600.
