Gold Price Rises to ₹1,44,330 per 10 Grams Amid Firm Global Bullion Prices
Gold prices in India continued their upward trend on July 30th, despite a mild decline in MCX futures. The MCX gold contract for August fell by 0.13%, but international prices remained above $4,000 an ounce. Domestic retail gold prices were higher due to firm global bullion prices.
The gold price for 24K gold rose to ₹1,44,330 per 10 grams, while the 22K gold price reached ₹1,32,300 per 10 grams. The 18K gold price increased to ₹1,08,250 per 10 grams. International spot gold traded around $4,080-$4,110 per ounce.
The US Federal Reserve's decision to keep interest rates unchanged at 3.50%-3.75% supported bullion prices. Ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East continued to increase safe-haven demand for gold.
