Gold Price Surges Rs4,200 in Pakistan Amid Global Market Volatility
The price of gold in Pakistan has increased by Rs4,200 per tola. On August 24, 2026, 24-karat gold was sold at Rs487,136 per tola. This is a significant rise from the previous rate of Rs482,936.
According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs417,640 after a gain of Rs3,601. The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs382,850 per 10-gram.
Silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs7,379 per tola and Rs6,326 per 10-gram.
