Gold prices in Pakistan declined significantly on Wednesday, following a drop in international market rates. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold price per tola reached Rs454,036 after falling by Rs11,300 during the day.
In comparison, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs389,262 after a decline of Rs9,688. The international rate of gold declined by $113 to reach $4,315 per ounce with a premium of $20.
The price of silver also decreased by Rs270 to reach Rs6,859 per tola. These rates are likely a result of the decline in gold prices globally.
