Gold Prices Climb in Jordan’s Local Market
Gold prices in Jordan saw an increase on Monday, with the price of 24-karat gold rising by 60 piasters per gram, while 21- and 18-karat gold prices climbed by 50 piasters. The General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops reported these changes in the local market.
The morning price list showed that 21-karat gold, the most popular grade among consumers, reached a selling price of JD 84.6 per gram at jewelry stores, with a buying price of JD 80.8. Meanwhile, 24-karat gold was priced at JD 97.1 per gram for selling, and 18-karat gold stood at JD 75 per gram for selling.
