Gold prices in India have seen a minor correction ahead of the Ganeshotsav festival. According to recent data, the prices for 24-carat, 22-carat, and 18-carat gold have fallen by ₹1 per gram compared to previous rates.

The decline is not significant, especially considering that festive demand for jewelry might pick up as families make purchases for Ganeshotsav and other upcoming occasions. As a result, buyers are keeping a close eye on daily movements in gold prices before making their purchases.

On September 12, the rates for different types of gold were recorded as follows:

The price of 24-carat gold was ₹15,442 per gram, with an 8-gram bar priced at ₹1,23,536 and a 10-gram bar priced at ₹1,54,420.

For 22-carat gold, the rates were ₹14,155 per gram for 1 gram, ₹113,240 for 8 grams, and ₹141,550 for 10 grams.

The rate for 18-carat gold was recorded at ₹11,582 per gram, with an 8-gram bar priced at ₹92,656 and a 10-gram bar priced at ₹115,820.
