Gold Prices Dip Across Major Jewellers Except Tanishq

Gold prices dropped on October 3, 2026, with 22k jewellery rates falling across major jewellers except Tanishq, where prices remained unchanged. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), gold prices can differ from bullion rates due to making charges and taxes.

The IBJA's indicative retail selling rates of gold and silver jewellery on October 1, 2026, showed 24k fine gold at ₹14,814 per gram, 22k gold at ₹14,458 per gram, and 18k gold at ₹11,999 per gram. Silver was priced at ₹2,20,829 for 999-purity.

Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas, and Kalyan Jewellers reported a decline in their 22k gold prices to ₹13,675 per gram, down from the previous day's ₹13,775 per gram. Tanishq maintained its 22k gold price at ₹13,820 per gram.
