Gold prices dip in Pakistan amid global downward trend
On Monday, October 5, 2026, gold prices in Pakistan saw a decline, opening at Rs436,336 per tola for 24-karat gold. This marked a drop of Rs4,30 from the previous session, reflecting a downward global trend. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 10 grams of 24-karat gold opened at Rs374,087.
Internationally, gold prices fell to $4,138 per ounce after a $43 drop in the previous session. In Pakistan, 22-karat gold was priced at Rs399,641 per tola, while 21-karat gold was available at Rs381,794 per tola. The price of 18-karat gold stood at Rs327,252 per tola.
The price of silver per tola also decreased by Rs56, opening at Rs6,522. Analysts predict that gold prices may remain volatile in the coming week due to a mix of international economic developments and local market conditions.
