Gold prices in Nepal continued to slide on Monday, marking the second consecutive day of declines. The precious metal fell by Rs 400 per tola, following a larger drop of Rs 2,900 per tola the previous day. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, gold is now trading at Rs 291,500 per tola, down from Rs 291,900 on Sunday.

The price of gold had seen a brief uptick on Friday, rising by Rs 1,500 per tola to reach Rs 294,800. However, this gain was quickly erased, with significant drops recorded earlier in the week. Last Monday and Tuesday, gold prices plummeted by Rs 8,800 per tola.

Silver prices also experienced a decline on Monday, falling by Rs 60 per tola to settle at Rs 4,330. The recent fluctuations highlight the volatility in precious metal markets.
