Gold Prices Drop in Baghdad and Erbil Markets

Gold prices saw a decline in Baghdad and Erbil markets on Monday. According to a Shafaq News market survey, gold prices recorded a selling price of 965,000 IQD per mithqal (equivalent to five grams) for 21-carat gold in Baghdad's Al-Nahr Street, including Gulf, Turkish, and European varieties.

The buying price stood at 961,000 IQD. This is down from Sunday's selling price of 970,000 IQD. The same gold had sold for 970,000 IQD on Sunday.

In jewelry stores, the selling price per mithqal of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 965,000 and 975,000 IQD, while Iraqi gold sold for between 935,000 and 945,000 IQD.
