Gold Prices Edge Higher as Investors Await Fed Minutes
Gold prices inched higher on Wednesday as U.S. Treasury yields eased from recent highs.
The spot price of gold rose by 0.2% to $4,342.33 per ounce at 0030 GMT after a nearly 2% drop the previous day.
In contrast, U.S. gold futures for December delivery decreased by 0.6% to $4,396.30.
The release of the Federal Reserve's meeting minutes is being closely watched by market participants as it may provide insight into future monetary policy decisions.
