Gold Prices Extend Losing Streak to Sixth Session Amid Global Market Volatility
Gold prices continued their downward trend for the sixth consecutive session, falling ₹2,100 to ₹1.56 lakh per 10 grams in the national capital on Wednesday. This decline follows a bearish trend in global markets.
The metal's value has decreased by ₹11,000 over the past six trading sessions, reaching nearly a three-week low of ₹1,56,100 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes).
According to Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst of Commodities at HDFC Securities, 'precious metals remained under heavy selling pressure on Wednesday, with spot gold falling to its lowest level in more than three weeks.'
