Gold Prices Fall Across Purity Levels on September 15, 2026

The India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) reported that gold prices fell across various purity levels on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. According to IBJA's indicative retail selling rates, 22k gold price fell by Rs 86 per gram, dropping to Rs 14,743 per gram. The fine gold (999) price also decreased by Rs 89 per gram, now trading at Rs 15,105 per gram.

The 22k gold prices were lower at Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas, and Kalyan Jewellers compared to Tanishq, which saw a slight increase. In Delhi, the current price of 22K gold jewellery at these brands is Rs 14,040 per gram. Meanwhile, in Mumbai, the same price was recorded across showrooms.

The IBJA data showed that other purity levels also witnessed a decrease in prices. The 20k gold price dropped to Rs 13,444 per gram, while 18k and 14k gold prices fell to Rs 12,235 per gram and Rs 9,743 per gram respectively. Silver (999) price also declined by Rs 1,270 per kg, trading at Rs 2,27,650 per kg.
