Gold Prices Fall in Baghdad and Erbil Markets Amid Thursday Decline
Gold prices in Baghdad and Erbil markets experienced a decline on Thursday. According to a Shafaq News market survey, gold prices hovered around 915,000 IQD per mithqal.
The selling price for 21-carat gold on Baghdad's Al-Nahr Street was recorded at 920,000 IQD, with a buying price of 916,000 IQD. In jewelry stores, the selling price per mithqal of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 920,000 and 930,000 IQD.
In Erbil, 22-carat gold was sold at 970,000 IQD per mithqal, 21-carat gold at 926,000 IQD, and 18-carat gold at 794,000 IQD. The prices for Iraqi gold were also lower, with a selling price of 890,000 IQD and a buying price of 886,000 IQD.
