Gold Prices Hit ₹1,63,044 per 10 Grams as International Markets Weaken
Gold and silver prices rose on August 26 due to weakness in international bullion markets. This led to an increase in domestic rates, with gold hitting ₹1,63,044 per 10 grams and silver nearing ₹2,45,422 per kg.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures were up by 0.84% at ₹1.63 lakh per 10 grams, while silver futures remained flat at around ₹2.45 lakh per kilogram.
Market participants are closely watching global economic data, US interest rate expectations, and currency movements for further direction in precious metal prices.
