Gold Prices Hit Two-Month High as Investors Await Inflation Data
Gold prices have continued their upward trend for the third consecutive session, reaching a new high of $4,432.74 per ounce on Tuesday.
This marks the highest level since June 5, according to Reuters, and comes as investors await inflation data for clues about the path of US interest rates.
US gold futures also rose by 1.7% to $4,492.60 per ounce.
Others precious metals followed suit, with spot silver rising 0.9% to $66.30 per ounce, platinum gaining 0.7% to $1,765.26, and palladium climbing 0.8% to $1,394.
