Gold Prices in India Hold Steady on September 24
Gold prices in India remained stable across major retail markets on September 24, 2026. The national average for 24-karat gold stood at INR 1,54,210 per 10 grams, while 22-karat gold was priced at INR 1,41,360 per 10 grams.
The prices were influenced by global spot trends and steady domestic demand. Retail bullion prices varied slightly across different urban centers due to regional taxes, octroi, and transportation logistics factored in by local jewellers.
Delhi recorded 24-karat gold at INR 15,436 per gram, while 22-karat was retailing at INR 14,151 per gram. Mumbai and Kolkata saw 24-karat gold at INR 15,421 per gram and 22-karat gold at INR 14,136 per gram.
