Gold Prices in India Remain Steady on August 13 Despite Slight Decline

Gold prices in India remained stable on August 13, despite a slight decline in MCX gold and silver. Retail gold rates continued to hover above ₹1.5 lakh per 10-gram threshold for 24K gold across major markets.

The MCX gold contract traded lower by ₹964 or 0.62% compared with the previous close at ₹1,53,918 per 10 grams. Silver futures also declined, trading near ₹2,35,574 per kg, down ₹2,261 or 0.95% from its previous close.

Despite the intraday declines, retail gold rates in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and others remained stable, with 24K gold prices ranging between ₹1,54,870 to ₹1,55,020 per 10 grams.
