Korea Zinc's copper foil manufacturer KZAM has started supplying mass-produced battery-grade copper foil to a major global battery maker, according to industry sources on August 13.
The battery-grade copper foil supplied by KZAM is expected to be used in batteries for energy storage systems (ESS) produced in North America.
