Gold Prices Inch Up on October 2 Amid Bullion Rate Movement

Gold prices saw a marginal increase on October 2, 2026, across various major jewellers. Buyers were tracking the latest movement in bullion and jewellery rates.

The Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA) released its indicative retail selling rates for gold and silver jewellery. According to IBJA, fine gold was priced at ₹ 14,814 per gram, while 22KT gold was priced at ₹ 14,458 per gram.

Tanishq's price of 22k gold jewellery was Rs 13,725 per gram across major cities. Malabar Gold & Diamonds' and Joyalukkas' prices for the same variety were also reported to be at ₹ 13,775 per gram each.

Kalyan Jewellers’ 22k gold jewellery price was also found to be at ₹ 13,775 per gram. IBJA noted that the rates may vary across brands as they include making charges, taxes and other applicable costs in addition to the gold value.
