Gold Prices Plummet ₹2600 Amid Global Market Downturn
Gold prices plummeted by ₹2,600 to ₹1.5 lakh per 10 grams in the national capital on Monday.
This decline follows a sharp selloff in global markets, driven by rising crude oil rates and a firm US dollar.
Gaurav Garg, Head of Research at brokerage platform Lemonn, said that gold and silver prices traded lower due to pressure from the strong US dollar.
Brent crude surged 4 per cent to USD 108.53 a barrel as renewed US-Iran tensions heightened supply concerns.
