Gold Prices Plummet Amid Middle East Tensions and Inflation Concerns
Gold prices on MCX fell 0.42% to Rs. 1,53,734 per 10 grams on September 21 amid rising tensions in the Middle East and inflation concerns.
The October gold futures decline mirrors Brent crude's drop of 2.11% to USD 101.6 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) falling by 2.17% to USD 98.12 per barrel.
Domestic Gold Prices saw 24K gold fall Rs. 16 to Rs. 1,56,680 per 10 grams, while 22K gold declined by Rs. 15 to Rs. 1,42,700.
The US gold prices also fell with spot gold dropping 0.2% to USD 4,368.33 per ounce and December delivery futures falling by 0.4% to USD 4,406.70.
