Gold Prices Plummet Amid US Jobs Data Anticipation and Middle East Tensions
Gold prices have taken a hit as traders weigh in on Middle East tensions and wait for key US labour market data that could influence Federal Reserve monetary policy.
Spot gold fell 0.4% to $4,428.54 per ounce, its lowest level since August 19. US gold futures also dropped 0.1% to $4,477.20.
The prices of other metals followed suit: spot silver decreased by 0.2% at $66.42, while platinum rose 0.4% to $1,797.71 and palladium remained steady at $1,355.08.
