The gold price in Pakistan dropped significantly on Wednesday, following a decline in the international market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola reached Rs453,936 after falling by Rs1,800 during the day.

In comparison to Tuesday's rate, this marks a decrease of Rs1,800 in a single day. The 10-gram gold also saw a decline, selling at Rs389,176 after losing Rs1,544 from its previous value.

The price drop is attributed to the international rate of gold, which declined by $18 to reach $4,314 per ounce. This decrease in global rates had a ripple effect on local markets, resulting in lower prices for gold and silver in Pakistan.
