Gold Prices Plummet Globally Amid Fed Tightening Concerns
Gold prices have declined globally, falling 1.63% to above $4,215 per ounce in early trading on September 28.
The US gold futures also dropped by 1.75%, while domestic gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) saw a marginal decline for the October 5 contract.
Market analysts point out that the Federal Reserve's tightening path is an important driver for gold prices, with upcoming economic data likely to influence market sentiment.
