Gold Prices Plummet in Delhi Amid Global Weakness
Gold prices in Delhi fell by Rs 2,150 to Rs 1.58 lakh per 10 grams on Tuesday, marking the second consecutive session of losses for the yellow metal.
The decline was influenced by weak global trends, with spot gold trading marginally lower at USD 4,404.44 per ounce overseas.
Silver prices, however, rose by Rs 600 to Rs 2.41 lakh per kilogram, supported by a weak dollar and anticipation of US inflation data.
Gaurav Garg, Head of Research at Lemonn, attributed the rise in silver to a weak dollar supporting precious metals.
