Gold Prices Plummet in Local Market Amid International Decline
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that gold prices declined in the local market on Monday, leading to a significant drop in 24-karat gold's value per tola.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs2,700 to settle at Rs457,536, while 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs2,315 to Rs392,263. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined by Rs2,122 to Rs359,587.
In the international market, the price of gold fell by $27 to $4,350 per ounce. The association reported that silver prices remained unchanged in both local and international markets, with a price of Rs7,100 per tola and $66.22 per ounce respectively.
