Gold Prices Plummet in Nepal After Weekend Rally

Gold prices in Nepal's domestic market dropped by Rs 1,300 per tola after a two-day surge. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association reported that hallmark gold settled at Rs 303,900 per tola today.

The precious metal had seen a significant increase over the weekend, rising by Rs 3,600 per tola on Friday and climbing an additional Rs 2,100 on Sunday. This total gain of Rs 5,700 per tola came after gold prices had fallen by Rs 2,300 per tola on Thursday.

However, silver prices moved upward today, rising by Rs 10 per tola to reach Rs 4,805.
