Gold Prices Plummet in Nepal Amidst Sudden Shift

The price of gold in the Nepali market took a significant hit on Monday, with a drop of Rs 5,000 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), gold was traded at Rs 299,300 per tola on Sunday.

The price plummeted to Rs 294,300 per tola on Monday, marking a substantial decline in just one day. This development comes after the gold price had risen by Rs 500 per tola earlier, reaching an all-time high of Rs 299,300 per tola.

Silver also saw a significant drop in price, falling by Rs 145 per tola on Monday. The price of silver was recorded at Rs 4,655 per tola on Sunday and declined to Rs 4,510 per tola on Monday.
