Gold Prices Plummet in Pakistan Amid Global Decline
The price of gold in Pakistan's local market saw a significant drop on Tuesday. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs4,000 to settle at Rs449,336. This decline is reflected in other types of gold as well, with 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreasing by Rs3,429 to Rs385,233 and 22-karat gold declining by Rs3,143 to Rs353,143.
In the international market, gold prices also experienced a decrease. The price of gold per ounce fell by $40 to $4,268. On the other hand, the prices of silver in both local and international markets remained stable, with no change observed.
