Gold Prices Plummet in Pakistan Amid International Market Decline

Gold prices in Pakistan took a hit on Thursday, mirroring a decline in the international market. According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold per tola dropped by Rs3,500 to reach Rs460,436. The price of 10-gram gold also fell, decreasing by Rs3,001 to sell at Rs394,749.

The international rate of gold declined by $35 to reach $4,380 per ounce, with a premium of $20. This decline is reflected in the local market, where gold prices have adjusted accordingly.

Silver prices also took a hit, decreasing by Rs175 to reach Rs6,936 per tola.
