Gold Prices Plummet in Pakistan as International Rates Fall

Gold prices in Pakistan have taken a hit, falling by Rs2,400 per tola. According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped to Rs463,136 on Monday.

This decline is a result of a loss in the international market, where the gold price fell by $24 to reach $4,406 per ounce. Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs397,064 after it fell by Rs2,058.

The price of silver also decreased by Rs39 to reach Rs7,059 per tola. This follows a decline in the international rate on Saturday, where the gold price in Pakistan reached Rs465,536 after a decline of Rs3,600.
