Gold Prices Plummet in Pakistan's Local Market Amid International Decline

The prices of gold and silver have dropped in Pakistan's local market, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs2,400 to settle at Rs463,136.

The association also reported that the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs2,058 to Rs397,064, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined by Rs1,887 to Rs363,988.

In contrast, the international market saw a decline in the price of gold with a drop of $24 to $4,406 per ounce. Silver prices also decreased, falling by $0.39 to $65.80 per ounce.
