Gold Prices Plummet to $4,139.8 Amid US Dollar Strength
Global gold prices dropped to $4,139.8 per ounce on October 3 due to rising US Treasury yields and a strengthening US dollar.
The SJC-branded gold bar price in Vietnam was traded at VND 143.5 million per tael, while the ring price was VND 143 million per tael.
This decline is part of a larger trend, as seen on October 2 when both domestic and global gold prices fell in tandem.
