Gold Prices Plunge Across India on July 24

Gold prices in India declined across all major cities on July 24. The decrease was observed for both 22-carat and 24-carat gold, with some cities seeing a drop of up to ₹2,272 for 8 grams of 24-carat gold.

In Mumbai, the price of 1 gram of 22-carat gold dropped by ₹270 to ₹13,280, while 8 grams of 22-carat gold decreased in value by ₹2,160 to ₹1,06,240. For 24-carat gold, the prices were ₹13,944 for 1 gram and ₹1,11,552 for 8 grams, down from yesterday.

A similar trend was observed in other cities, including Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. The decrease in gold prices is attributed to various factors, including market fluctuations and changes in global demand.
