Gold Prices Poised for Sharp Increase Ahead of End-of-Year Spike
Jeffrey Christian of CPM Group expects gold prices to spike sharply higher between now and the end of 2026, potentially reaching $80 or $90 per ounce. He made this prediction in an interview with Investing News Network.
Christian is not alone in his optimism about gold's prospects. Bill Holter of BillHolter.com believes that gold's next leg higher has already begun, driven by the implosion of fiat currencies. 'I think price wise, we're early,' he said. 'Time wise, I don't think there's a lot of time left before we see the implosion of fiats.'
On the other hand, Jim Thorne of Wellington-Altus cautions that many economic ideas that worked in the past no longer apply today. He recommends considering digital assets, or crypto, as a way to manifest a macro view in one's portfolio.
