Gold Prices Predicted to Soar by Diwali: Expert Sees 18% Upside
Gold and silver prices may continue to rise through Diwali and year-end 2026, according to a commodity market expert. Ajay Suresh Kedia, founder & director of Kedia Advisory, predicts that gold will test Rs 1,80,000 per 10 grams by Diwali or year-end 2026, implying an approximately 18% upside from the reference price.
Gold prices have fluctuated in recent sessions, with a decline of 0.22% on September 24, 2026, to Rs 1,50,960 per 10 grams. However, Kedia believes that supportive investment flows, geopolitical uncertainty, and constrained supplies will drive gold prices upwards.
Kedia also forecasts that silver could test approximately Rs 3,00,000 per kilogram by Diwali or year-end, representing a nearly 28% potential upside. He notes that the gold-silver ratio near 65-66 currently favors silver, and investors should build positions gradually while maintaining a diversified bullion allocation.
