Gold Prices Rebound as Silver Continues to Gain Amid Global Uncertainty
Gold and silver prices have stabilized after weeks of volatility amid global economic uncertainty and geopolitical tensions.
On September 8, gold rebounded from its decline on September 7, while silver continued to gain momentum.
In the international market, gold remained under pressure at $4,473.50 per ounce, a 0.07% decrease on Comex.
However, silver prices rose by 1.01% to $67.425 per ounce.
The domestic market saw both metals gain ground, with gold trading around Rs 1.53 lakh per 10 grams and silver at Rs 2.40 lakh per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).
According to commodity expert Ajay Kedia, 'Gold settled marginally higher as stronger US employment data reinforced expectations that interest rates could remain elevated.'
