Gold Prices Remain Steady in Baghdad and Erbil
Gold prices in Baghdad and Erbil markets remained stable on Monday, marking the third consecutive day of steady prices. In the Iraqi capital, 21-carat gold was sold for 970,000 IQD per mithqal (five grams), with a buying price of 966,000 IQD. The selling price for 21-carat Iraqi gold stood at 940,000 IQD, while the buying price was 936,000 IQD.
In Erbil, prices varied by type: 22-carat gold sold for 1,004,000 IQD per mithqal, 21-carat gold for 960,000 IQD, and 18-carat gold for 822,000 IQD. The stable prices in both cities suggest a calm market with no significant changes.
The prices are based on a Shafaq News market survey and reflect the selling and buying prices in various markets, including Al-Nahr Street in Baghdad and jewelry stores in both cities.
